Kimberley Mallett is a very inspired soul, and expresses her
inner thoughts and feelings through her work, and it truly shows. You can see
these expressions "Shine", in all her photos, as they show her heart
felt love of nature and mankind alike. Her photos have amazing color, clarity
and form. A feast for the eyes and extraordinary to the senses. She invites you into her world of imagination, and by
observing her work it will make you feel like you're actually there. Her photo video
montages have a pleasant “Storybook” feel, very "Creative and Fun".
Definitely! Photos that will stand "The Test of Time"! Every time you
observe them they "Will Come to Life" with comforting warmth and the
fondest memories. Kimberly Mallett's professionalism stands alone in my
opinion. "5 Star" Highly Recommended! Your, journey begins here. Enjoy! Douglas Reid, Home Care Provider, Oshawa,

Hi Kimberly you always had been a great photographer and you are very gifted of what you do. You are among the few folks that support our scene while others don't care much about it but many musicians as well as yours truly are applauding you of your contribution to our scene. In the two years I've known you been one of my dearest friends and supporters of my involvement of the scene and we see each other whenever we can. I'm sure we'll see each other throughout this year and yes we'll even dance too and attend shows together. Your work is so incredible and there's no doubt you get hired from various musicians that would want pictures taken for album covers or 8/10 pictures. We need more folks like you on our scene and keep it up with your amazing work. Sincerely Max Brand January 25, 2010
On behalf of Kimberly Mallett PhotographyFirstly, I would to take this opportunity to write a short descriptor of Kimberly's photography journey as I understand it. She and I first met in the fall of 2006 while attending a live performance of mutual friends. She described to me that evening how she had been an active supporter and follower of some of Canada's great roots rockers from the 70's onward and was taking a renewed interest in documenting their musical journey.Over the next three years I watched Kimberly follow her heart, obtain new high end digital SLR camera equipment and apply her passion to reconnecting with, as well as broaden her musical network. It was at this time that I hired her to document my own concert series, as well as to have her photograph some of the corporate shows that I was producing. It was obvious to me from the get go that Kimberly had the uncanny talent of putting artists at their ease and obtain amazing dynamic photos that reflected the very heart of soul of their performances.Since that time, Kimberly has branched out into other arenas, thereby further broadening her artistic eye as she captures everything from landscape to pets, blue moon and loons, time lapse images of night skies, and has resurrected the once common, now seldom used practice of creating formal portrait shots for artists such as were once commonly signed by the artists and given to the venues where they performed, as well as given to their fans as memorabilia.
How am I qualified to recommend her work? Over the years I have both booked and hosted many premier shows featuring award winning roots musicians including, for eight years, the Jazz, Blues & Soul opening weekend for The Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, for ten years the critically acclaimed weekly Mojo Willie Blues & Soul Concert Series hosted at various venues throughout the Niagara Peninsula, yearly Bluesaganza charityconcerts on behalf of CAW Local 199, the Great Canadian Biker Build Off with co-hosts Iron Mike Benson from HTZ FM and Radical Randy from Live to Ride TV (based in Florida), the Roadhouse Roots Country & Bluegrass Festival, and the gala openers for both the Canal Bank Shuffle and the Orangeville Jazz and Blues Festival, just to name a few. A short descriptor of Kimberly Mallett aka Stiletto Rose artistic background: Kimberly has been active within the music scene since 2006 in documenting via her lens festivals, artists and events throughout Southern Ontario. These include Bluesaganza 2007, The Niagara Grape and Wine Festival 2007, Winterfolk 2008, The Tributes to Mississippi John Hurt in 2007 and Son House in 2008 presented by The Grand River Blues Society, The John Lennon Tribute hosted by Greg Godovitz, Good Riddance to Godovitz, Tin Pan North 2008, The Maple Blues Awards 2008, both official Jeff Healey Tributes, The Canal Bank Shuffle spring 2007, the 23rd anniversary of the Toronto Blues Society 2008, she was the official photographer for the Orangeville Jazz and Blues Festival 2008, as well as, is the official photographer/ videographer for Mojo Willies Blues and Soul Concert Series for the 2007/2008 concert season, just to name a few. Kimberly is able to provide her client artists with full photo shoots for said artists and their bands, including graphic designing of their CD covers. Her mission is to assist artists in reaching a broader, more upscale demographic with their music, as well as, assist them in increasing the marketability of their music by raising their profile and notoriety through her connections in the music industry. Kimberly is also further developing her career as she branches out into rock, pop and country music, pet, landscape, night scape and nature photography and has obtained many clients that are delighted with the quality of services she has provided them. I heartily endorse her work. Kimberly is the ONLY photographer I have hired to document the artists whom I have presented. She never failed to bring fun, excitement, dynamism and creativity to her photo shoots. I encourage fellow presenters, musicians, as well as any who have used her services, to be kind enough to add your endorsement of her work. My sincerest regards and best wishes to Kimberly in furthering her artistic journey,
Bill "Mojo Willie" Rymer! January 24, 2010
